Welcome to curari, a delightful cafe nestled in the heart of Itabashi City, Tokyo. A hidden gem that beautifully blends charming aesthetics with delectable flavors, curari invites you to bask in its cozy ambiance adorned with recycled wood and antique furnishings. This unique space is more than just a cafe; it’s a treasured escape where every corner exudes warmth and personality.

Curari specializes in Italian cuisine, with an enticing menu that primarily features mouthwatering pizza and pasta. The stone oven bakes the pizza to perfection, boasting a wonderfully bread-like crust that’s both satisfying and delicious. As enthusiast Aaron Meldahl enthusiastically notes, the lunch set is an absolute steal—just 1500 yen for an appetizer, your choice of pizza or pasta, a drink, and scrumptious dessert. Taste the renowned margherita pizza, where the cheese melts perfectly, creating a rich and creamy experience. For pasta lovers, the offerings are equally impressive, though it's the pizza that frequently steals the show.

Desserts at curari are a must-try, with options that showcase the owners' passion for homemade sweets. Customers rave about the raspberry cheesecake with a perfect graham cracker crust—a delightful end to any meal. However, some like Bryan feel the desserts don’t quite match the allure of the pizza, reflecting the diverse preferences of visitors.

The cafe’s vibe attracts not just locals but also those who have recently discovered the charming street that curari calls home. Vince Prep, a local resident since 2008, expresses joy in finally finding this delightful cafe and is excited about returning for more of the delicious coffee and warm atmosphere. Curari is a place to relax and enjoy life, where conversations flow easily, and the friendly owners enhance your experience with their welcoming presence.

For those looking for a cozy yet lively atmosphere where the community comes together, curari stands out as a local favorite. Whether you’re craving a slice of piping hot pizza, enjoying a leisurely afternoon coffee, or indulging in a slice of exquisite cake, this cafe promises to deliver satisfaction in every bite. Visit curari and immerse yourself in the delightful offerings that make this cafe a cherished part of Itabashi City.

A cozy little cafe with pizza, pasta, and homemade sweets. The interior is all recycled wood and antique furniture. The pizza is baked in stone oven, a bit bread-like crust but good, pasta is fine, but really a steal for a 1500 yen lunch set that includes appetizer, pizza or pasta, drink, and dessert. The desserts are fantastic -- had raspberry cheesecake with a proper graham cracker crust that was to die for. The thing that put it over the top for me was the friendly service of the couple that runs it. Just be careful -- fills up quickly on Sunday lunchtime and may need reservations.

I’ve lived in the area since 2008 and somehow only recently discovered this little street that has curari and many other cute shops, cafes, and restaurants. Now that I know which way to walk out of the station, I’ll be back. Today, I had a marinara pizza and cake. The coffee is delicious and the owners are a sweet young couple. I love having such a sophisticated and tasty place so close by. Thank you

The food is great, but it's a little overpriced. Desserts look nice, but they aren't particularly good. The pizza was the best. Would definitely recommend for those craving some over baked goodness.
